Powerful Habits
for Living Well
Living well starts with a positive mindset. Want to live your best, most intentional life? Follow these three simple steps:
1. Be Mindful/Meditate
Spend a few minutes meditating every day to tap into different parts of the brain that drive focus, creativity, and insights. Meditation has been scientifically proven to lower anxiety, depression, and the risk of many diseases including heart disease. New to meditation? Click on the Mindfulness & Meditation links to get started.
2. Practice Gratitude
Focus on three things a day that you’re thankful for and say them silently to yourself. Much of what we get out of life is based on our own mindset. Positive attracts positive. Show gratitude for the simple pleasures in your life, and your path ahead will be much brighter.
3. Move Your Body
Physical activity is critical not only for the physical aspects of our wellbeing, but also the mental aspects. Sedentary lifestyles are being linked to serious mental and physical ailments. Go for a walk, attend a yoga class, or just dance around your house (you’re allowed to have fun). Click on the Walking Meditation link to get moving and feeling good.
